Church Invitation letter

A church invitation letter is usually written by a church authority such as a pastor to invite its congregation to a function or event organized by the church. Such a letter can compel the members of the church to attend as a show of support and submission to the head or authority of the church, the pastor.

RE: Invitation to our New Year Service

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! A blessed New Year to you and your family!
It is my pleasure to invite you and your family to our first Sunday service tomorrow to celebrate the New Year together as God’s family. We will gather at the main church hall at 10 am to fellowship with one another and with our Lord Jesus.

Then we shall spend some time in prayer to ask for our good Lord’s direction for the church and ourselves as individuals for this New Year. We want to be found doing His will and purposes at a greater height this year with our theme, ‘Greater Heights with Jesus’.

I look forward to meeting up with you and your family to share this joy and fellowship tomorrow.

Yours in Christ,
Senior Pastor Patrick J. Davidson
